September 15thSaturday Sewing Day10 a.m. to 4 p.m., bring any item/items you would like to work on.  Tables available to baste on.  Cost £10.00.
September 18thTombola Sewing EveningEnjoy making various items for the tombola and learn some new ideas on the way.
October 5thSetting Up for ExhibitionMembers needed to help set up from 7 p.m.
October 6thExhibitionOur two yearly exhibition from 10a.m. to 4 p.m.  Everyone welcome.
November 20thDawn Cameron-DickDawn will be giving a talk entitled "Needles and Threads a Love Story".
There will be a raffle during the evening.

Quilt Show January 18th New Year - new challenges! Chinese whispers, Build a Quilt and Ugly Fabric Dare.
Reviews February 5th Jelly Roll Ideas Smaller projects - an In-house workshop.
Links February 15th Carolyn Forster Talk entitled "How I Got Here"
An open meeting when visitors and friends are especially welcome
(£2.50 entrance).  There will be a raffle during the evening.
Videos March 15th Sleeping Bear Visit from a quilting shop and a chance to purchase some different fabrics.
April 12th** Quilt Finishing hints and tips An evening of invaluable hints and tips from members.
** Please note that this meeting is on the second Tuesday of April as the hall is not available on our usual evening.
May 17th A.G.M. A.G.M. followed by Kantha quilting led by Margaret Penn.
June 21st Lesley Syme Talk entitled "Joseph's Coat to Jacob's Ladder, illustrated with lots of quilts.  An  open meeting when visitors and friends are especially welcome (£2.50 entrance).  There will be a raffle during the evening.
July 19th Eliza McClelland Glamorous Beadwork.  Eliza began stitching in theatre dressing rooms.  She shares her inspiration and shows many beaded items.  An open meeting when visitors and friends are especially welcome (£2.50 entrance).
August 16th Quilt Games Evening Come and have fun and maybe learn something along the way!   A members'  evening.
September 20th Mini Workshops An evening of members' mini workshops.  A members' evening.
October 8th Janet Crowther workshop Pieced and Patched bags and cushions.
October 18th Christmas makes A chance to make some different Christmas decorations and gifts.  A members' evening.
November 15th Mini Exhibition Do invite friends and neighbours to come and see the results of our challenges through the year.
December 20th Christmas Fun A Christmas social event.  A members' evening.

Shirley Quilters is a quilting group and as such we do not run classes, although on many evenings there will be a demonstration and we organise several workshops a year.  We work on group projects or our own work.

10th Birthday Celebrations		 Simple landscape pictures to help use up some of your stash! Including show and tell of your landscape ideas.
Reviews February 6th Dyeing Workshop Day Led by Neredah and Barbara
Links February 16th Group Quilt Project Beginning work on quilts to raffle at the exhibition, bunting making and a block exchange idea.
Guest  Book March 16th Visit from Puddleducks Shop Jo Baddeley will also be demonstrating a project using charm squares.
April 20th Carolyn Forster Talk entitled "How I got here". An open meeting when visitors and friends are especially welcome.
